CORRECTION Announcement May 10, 2018

Your Senior Boys Soccer team suffered a devastating loss yesterday in round one playoff action.  We travelled to Vollmer to meet the Sandwich Sabres.  Your Comets came out to a flying start with Tyler Charron slotting one past the Keeper within the first 5 minutes.  The Sabres would claw back and eventually take a 2-1 lead.  Your Comets fought hard to get a a goal to draw them even, when Roberto Estimable took one from distance and it found its way into the Sandwich net. Score is now 2-2.  The game was forced into overtime which was scoreless.  This led to a penalty shootout. Buddy Rocca and Mohammed Al-Rabeeah were our shootout goal scorers and Jarrid Ouellette would stop one . But 2 goals out of a possible 5 was just not enough to clench the win.  We were outscored 3-2 in a penalty shootout which ultimately ended the season for the boys.  Coach Facchineri and Coach Anjel are very proud of the boys and their efforts and more importantly, we are happy with the growth and progression of the team.  Great season boys!

We would like to take the time to thank and say goodbye to members not returning or graduating.  Thank you to:

Mohammed Al-Rabeeah
Saman Aljirjese
Tyler Charron
Roberto Estimable
Ahmed Mousa
Martin Nissan
Jarrid Ouellette
Dani Sheeba
Pablo Robledo - our Spanish International
Frankie Urso
and of course our Captain Buddy Rocca

The coaches and the team would also like to thank Administration, the phys ed department, and the ladies in the office for being so accomodating with the schedule and the needs of the team.  Special thanks to the Sobhi's and little Stavro for fan support and to Riham and Sama for being our student volunteers.
