Samhar Gezehey
Grace Dorcas
Jaymee Carter
Ayack Deng
Reem Asy
Silvana Lopez
Jenna Petz Purdy
And last but not least Alyssa Steirs.

our girls played in the WECSSA championship game last night and were defeated by Kingsville High. The loss means nothing in comparison to what the entire season has meant. These ladies went from no team..... to no one to coach the team.... to an undefeated team and many great coaches involved.
In the end the most important thing to remember girls is the season that you played to get you the WECSSA Silver medal. I am very proud of each and every one of you. Though the loss was disappointing it has been my honour and Priveledge to have been your coach and it has been a blessing for me to have had the opportunity to get to know each and every one of you as individuals, who make up an amazing Catholic Central Basketball team!
I am proud to have been your coach!

Attention dance team members, dance rehearsal has been rescheduled for tomorrow at lunch. Please inform other members that rehearsal is not today after school, it is now tomorrow at lunch.

The Junior Boys Volleyball Team put forth a valiant effort Friday.  After losing the first 2 sets they were able to work together as a team and win the next 2 sets, unfortunately falling short the 5th set losing the match by only 2 points.  Despite the loss, they definitely made the Cardinals work for the win.  Great Job Junior Boys!

The WECSSAA Basketball coaches had their All-Star meeting last night. In the voting by all the coaches, Bosana Said was a unanimous selection as the Tier 2 MVP and 1st Team All-Star. Also at the meeting, the coaches voted Taya Butler to 1st Team All-Star. Taya averaged over 8 pts per game with 8 threes and lead the team in assists. Congrats Taya!

And last, but certainly not least, the coaches voted Suzan Ding to the 2nd All-Star team.Suzan averaged 7pts per game and hit 7 threes. Suzan did all the little things(score, rebound and assist) to help the team win.Congrats Suzan!

These three players will play in the All-Star game on November 30 at Herman.

The coaches would like to congratulate all the girls for their great regular season, finishing in 1st place with a 10-0 record. It takes a great team effort, each game, to acomplish something that was never done before in Girls basketball at CCH.
